Google account data: With your explicit authorization via OAuth, we access your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Tasks data solely to generate your personalized daily briefing. We do not store the content of your emails, calendar events, or tasks beyond what is necessary to produce your briefing.

Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Service, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.

Communications: If you contact us by email or otherwise, we retain those communications to respond to you and improve our Service.

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate and deliver your personalized daily briefing via email and audio
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional and service-related communications
• Improve, personalize, and expand our Service

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Briefing content generated from your Google data is deleted within 24 hours of delivery. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@getkat.ai.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating our Service (e.g., payment processors, email delivery services, cloud infrastructure), under strict confidentiality agreements.

We may disclose your information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KAT, our users, or the public.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
